MUMO was founded in 2011 in Rui'an, Wenzhou.

Like a tree rooted in the soil, we explore the relationship between people and objects, nature and everyday life, as time and space flow.

Starting with furniture, MUMO has branched out into many possibilities. Today, we encompass multiple brands, including MUMO, Sinco Community, Working Hands Fair, Xibian Ceramics Studio, Lighting, and Seeds Coffee, collectively shaping an eco-friendly, natural, and healthy way of living—do to others as we do to ourselves.

2025: The Simplicity of Abundance

Fourteen years ago, MUMO began as a solo journey, gradually bringing together like-minded companions. We started with furniture—one table, one chair—and expanded to a community, a fair, and various explorations of the connection between people and life.

We have always upheld the philosophy of “working with our hands, sustaining ourselves”, supporting this way of life. MUMO is not just about design; it is a proposal—an invitation to seek a sustainable and kind way of living in the present moment.

Looking ahead, we hope more people can find resonance with their own lifestyles through MUMO—to make living spaces more eco-friendly and natural, to create objects that accompany life for longer, and to bring the warmth of handmade craftsmanship back into daily life.
